There is peace and a comforting feeling when getting into the posture of praying. Knowing that God is working everything out for you gives you hope. He never wants his children to be distressed. Please remember God is not a genie. Yes, he can perform miracles and provide you with everything you want, but it’s not all about what you can receive.

Spend time with him and build your relationship. Give him your listening ear undivided attention, read your word, and do praise and worship. You will appreciate the peace that just comes from being in his presence. If you don’t have a prayer life, I genuinely encourage you to get one; You won’t regret it.
